Bus Stop Espresso Café is on a Roll

Heading to the Noosa Hinterland? The Bus Stop Espresso Café is one Cooroy Café experience out of the ordinary!

Family owners Rob and Beth Roy have lovingly restored and fitted out an antique bus from the 1940’s, to house the café. Affectionately known as Marion, after Beth’s mother, the bus was once part of Melbourne’s tram network.

In the past few years since its opening, the ‘Busstop’ is on a roll to becoming a local icon. A popular gathering place for locals, the café is set on the Roy’s small acreage farm. You will simply love the coffee and food here in this quiet, leafy, and inviting Noosa Hinterland setting.

The café serves freshly ground, local Cooroy coffee and a menu that is homemade-with-love, which includes local produce from the property. Chickens roam freely around the farm, producing free-range eggs, and beehives provide fresh honey. Local Cooroy coffee, farm eggs and honey are also available for sale. Try their Garlic infused Honey for something completely new!
On the menu are sweet muffins, savory homemade pies and pizzas including a Bus Stop special – garlic honey pizza.

Set just outside Cooroy, it is easy to include a stop off at the Busstop Espresso Café when touring the Noosa Hinterland.
Cooroy is one of the Noosa Hinterland’s many historical country towns, founded around 1863, its name derives from a local aboriginal word Coorooey, meaning possum. Today this charming historical town is a window into the region’s past.

Busstop Espresso Café is at 201 Mary River Road, Cooroy. Opening hours are Monday – Friday 5.30am – 1.00pm Saturday & Sunday 7.30am – 4pm.
