Owner Jeroo Pavri is passionate about design and good food.
“It’s like a little bit of Europe in Noosa and all about quality ingredients and a love of what we do,” says Jeroo.
“For example, all of our Panini and sandwiches are made fresh to order, not at 6am in the morning then stored in a fridge,” she says.
The Cooking Company delicatessen specialises in local and international cheeses and gluten-free bread and cakes.
“Our visitors from Melbourne and Sydney love us because they can get things they have at home, but can’t find anywhere else in Noosa,” says Jeroo.
Jeroo is proud that all of her staff have been with her for years and are passionate foodies.
“You can’t go to Coles and ask for a cheese tasting or help to select something special.
“We offer free tastings here and our team loves to share their knowledge and talk about all of our products,” she says.
The gift and homeware section offers products you can’t find in department stores and include tableware, cookware, utensils and glasses.
The Cooking Company also imports a range of quality brands including French linen, Woven paper tableware, fine porcelain and specialised chemical free laundry and cleaning products.
Noosa has many hidden gems and Noosa Junction, a short drive from Hastings Street is one of them.
