Runaway Noosa Marathon in 2023

Looking for a fun weekend that’s full of energy and activity, the Runaway Noosa Marathon is the event for you!
In 2023, the Noosa Marathon will be held in the heart of Noosa on a flat multi-lap course. Enjoy running in the lovely May weather with an average temperature of 23 degrees. Take in the view as you run across bridges, past canals and along the beautiful Noosa River.
If you’re planning to be a spectator, there are plenty of great viewing location you can take advantage of on the day. You can also make use of the free event app that gives you live updates and athlete tracking throughout the day.

5km Run & Walk – This a family friendly event that is open to all ages, children under 12 that are participating must be accompanied by an adult. Prams, baby buggies and non-racing wheelchairs are welcome. This race starts at 10:15 in the morning from Hastings Street.
10km Run – Participants must be 10+ years of age to compete in the 10km race, those under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This event is wheelchair approved. This race commences at 9:15am.
Half Marathon – To compete in the half marathon you must be a minimum of 16 years of age. This race starts at 6:30am, with participants needing to complete two laps of the flat course which starts in Hastings Street, moves along Noosa Parade and Gympie Terrace and turns around at Hilton Terrace at Noosaville.
Marathon – You must be 18 years of age or older to compete in the marathon. This marathon has a 6 hours overall course cut off to allow for progressive road opening. Starting at 6:15am on Saturday the 27th of May, it is ideal conditions to complete your first ever marathon!
If you’re new to running and want to give the 5km fun run a go, or you’re an experienced long-distance runner, it’s a great day out for the whole family.
