Whether you’re going for the day, the weekend, or an extended period, this guide will assist you in deciding what to do in Noosa when staying at beautiful Little Cove Court.

Explore Noosa National Park

When you visit the Sunshine Coast, exploring Noosa’s National Park is a must-do, and only a short walk from our resort. With various types of nature on display (water, sand, rainforest, rocks, and clifftops), there’s a lot of beauty to see. Choose one of the many hiking trails, which usually begin and end at the Noosa headland’s day-use area, and take in the stunning scenery, making sure to watch out for koalas and black cockatoos in the treetops. Find a place to have a picnic, swim in the many bays along the coastal walk and admire the beautiful views.

Visit Noosa Farmers Market

If you’re in Noosa on a Sunday, the Noosa Farmers Market is a must-visit. The market is located just a five-minute drive or a 45 minute walk from our resort and is an excellent place to try some of the fantastic local produce. There are numerous stalls to explore, so it’s best to arrive bright and early when the market opens at 6am. While browsing, sip on a freshly squeezed lime drink or sample some of the region’s best coffee. You’ll find everything from organic fruits and vegetables to freshly baked bread, gourmet condiments, nuts and seeds, and seafood straight from the local waters.

Swim in Little Cove Beach

Little Cove Beach is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Noosa Heads directly opposite to Little Cove Court. The beach is surrounded by lush greenery and offers stunning views of Noosa. The clear blue waters and soft white sand make it the perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing. Little Cove Beach is also great for snorkeling, and you can spot some amazing marine life in the calm waters. It’s the ideal spot for a tranquil day out, away from the hustle and bustle of the main beach. Keep your eye out for low tide to walk to Noosa Main beach on the beach.

Visit Noosa Main Beach

Wonder a little way down the beautiful boardwalk from our resort to Noosa Main Beach and take in the more vibrant atmosphere. Uniquely, it is one of the few Australian beaches that face north. It is patrolled every day of the year by surf lifesavers, and you can have a lot of fun swimming in and surfing on the waves. For the majority of the year, the waves at Main Beach are gentle, making it an ideal location for all age groups.

Cruise Noosa River

Experience the best of Noosa from a unique perspective by taking a cruise with Noosa Ferry & Cruise Company. Choose from the Ferry Cruise, which departs from Hastings Street and stops at seven key locations along the Noosa River up to the Tewantin Marina.  Their Sunset Cruise, which offers a picturesque view of Noosa at dusk as you glide along the Noosa River Mouth and into Weyba Creek.

Discover Noosa Junction

Discover the vibrant and exciting array of bars, restaurants, music venues, cafes, fashion boutiques, alleys, night markets, fitness centers, street art displays, and photography galleries in Noosa Junction. This bustling village is conveniently located just over Noosa Hill, a lovely walk from Little Cove Court resort.

The J Noosa, Dubbed as “The Junga” by locals is a prominent entertainment center that plays host to various local and touring artists, as well as film festivals, further cementing the neighborhood’s reputation as Noosa’s cultural and entertainment hub.

They offer hourly, overnight, or week-long packages for individuals or groups, suitable for all skill levels. Nothing beats the feeling of trotting along Noosa’s famous beaches with the water brushing against your ankles.

Walk along Hastings Street

As the beating heart of Noosa, Hastings Street is a must-visit destination. With a diverse range of cafes, restaurants, bars, boutiques, spas, and galleries, as well as the beach just across the road, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy a morning coffee, a sunset cocktail, or a night-time stroll along the fairy-light-covered boardwalk while listening to the crashing waves.

Kayak the Noosa Everglades

Take a guided kayak tour with Kanu Kapers to explore the beauty of Noosa Everglades, one of the only two everglades in the world. This wilderness is home to rare birds and plants and was once inhabited by the Kabi Kabi People. For a more independent experience, you can opt for a fully equipped self-guided tour.

Skydive for the ultimate thrill

For an adrenaline-pumping experience, book a skydive with Skydive Noosa and see the Sunshine Coast from a whole new perspective.
